Root Cause Analysis for Asset Management

This course is designed to teach the attendee how to use a process based approach, as well as some of the most popular and useful problem solving techniques available today. These objectives are accomplished with a simple set of learning aids that can be used each time Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is applied in your facility:

• Fault Tree
• Logic Tree
• Sequence of Events
• Event and Casual Factor Analysis
• Simplified Failure Modes Analysis (FMA)
• Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

Class lecture will be reinforced with numerous practice opportunities, so the attendee will be prepared to go back to the job and attack chronic plant problems and incidents right away.
