During the three-day 2023 ITE Southern District Student Leadership Summit (SLS) hosted by Mississippi State University, CAVS-E's Dr. Emily Wall presented "Teaching Aided by Virtual Reality' to students from nine southern states interested in transportation. Through networking, conferences, and scholarships, ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers) provides students with the opportunity to enhance their collegiate experiences and build long-lasting relationships with future employers. The SLS event is held to promote leadership and professional development for transportation engineering students through technical and professional presentations hosted by industry speakers and extensive student-industry networking. Dr. Wall is a Research Engineer for CAVS-E who specializes in lean six sigma practices, manufacturability, modeling and simulations, and virtual reality applications.
