Students participating in a recent Financial Fundamentals course learned many aspects of financial strategies, including how to maximize their business resources. Financial Fundamentals is one of the various courses offered by the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems-Extension to help companies develop their business goals and operating processes. In helping to improve decision-making and planning to leverage a business, students are involved in an interactive business simulation where they are setting up and operating their own manufacturing facility. Through this simulation, students are able to visualize corporate financial information and experience how different departments affect others in accomplishing the required tasks of their jobs.
